2020 NHSA Officers Elected

July 1, 2020 by Dan Gould

Please welcome the 2020 NHSA Officers!

  • President: Chris Runnals
  • Vice President: Tom Willand
  • Treasurer: Steve Kiander
  • Secretary: Lisa Charrette
  • Past President: Lucy Ford

Election Process

The NHSA has been working with legal counsel throughout the year, as the pandemic continues to bring new questions and challenges before us.

Because of COVID-19 the NHSA annual meeting has been postponed, thus elections did not take place on May 17, 2020. However the terms of the 2019-2020 officers expired on June 30.

Fortunately the bylaws allow the board of directors to elect officers when faced with unforeseen situations. The process was simplified, as there were no contested seats during nominations, which were carried out as outlined in the bylaws, well before the pandemic hit.

Elections: Round Two

A search is ongoing for a location to host the annual meeting. We ask members who might have a suggestion to contact the NHSA office.

Once a location and date are finalized, the membership will be notified. An election of officers will take place again at the annual meeting. That’s right, two elections in a single year!

Thank You

The NHSA Officers sincerely thank all the clubs and volunteers for their efforts and they plan to connect with you soon.

New, Used, Refurbish?
Your sled needs work and you've been considering an upgrade. However the supply chain and economic picture has made the decision more complicated. Do you fix the sled or buy something else?
