Texas Adult Driver Education Course

All first-time drivers in Texas 18-24 years old are required to complete a state-approved, 6-hour Driver Education Course to apply for a Texas Learner Permit and Driver License.

NOTE: Anyone 25 or older can also complete this course and take the DPS Test online instead of taking it in-person at the DPS Office. Many prefer to avoid the stress of having to pass a test at the DPS office and thus choose to take our 6-hour course.

This course has been authorized by the State of Texas and can be taken 100% online without any hassles. License #C3042

The Basics:

  • This course is 6 hours in length
  • You must be 18 or older to take this course
  • This course includes the DPS Test.
