NHSA Trail Sign Enhancement Program

Snowmobiles in New Hampshire ride past signs that are part of grant program.

NHSA is offering to assist clubs in need with a durable, modular trail signage option that will bring consistency to the trail system in New Hampshire for years to come.

Interested clubs should submit the form below no later than June 19, 2023.

The Trails Committee at the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association will review submittals and select a minimum of two worthy candidates in need of a signage upgrade. The successful candidates will be announced in July.

Draft signs are examples only! Format and colors TBA.

Selected clubs will receive up to a $5,000 maximum value in signage for major intersections.

Once the winning candidates are contacted, NHSA will provide sign templates and start the process of procuring signs. Delivery will be the Fall of 2023.

Clubs are encouraged to match funds to the project for additional intersection signs.

The estimated cost to sign each intersection with high-quality durable aluminum signs is valued at $300.

Note: Clubs would provide the posts (either wood or steel), and NHSA will provide the signs.

Funding for this incredible project has been provided by generous donors and sponsors!
Signs will follow guidelines established by NHSA Trails Committee, including inspection.

Permission Resources

If needed, available from the BOT.
