October 11, 2018 by NHSA

NEW: To qualify for a NH snowmobile club membership registration discount of $30 per sled, an NHSA Voucher must be presented to the Registration Agent, per new legislative rules. The voucher is the only accepted document. This is a change from past years.

IMPORTANT: You need to join a club and get a voucher before registering your sled in order to get the discount.

Frequently Asked Voucher Questions

Can I get a voucher at a store or dealership?
While some stores might have a computer available to join a club and get the voucher immediately, the majority will not.

Can I use my phone or mobile device?
Yes. You can join a club with a mobile device and use it to display your voucher immediately. Join Now!

What’s the Best Solution?
Join a club in advance of registration and get a voucher.

Get The Discount

1) Join a club before registering your sled

Two options:

  • Go to the NHSA Club Membership page to join a club online and instantly get your voucher.
  • Contact a club and request a membership and voucher.

2) Get Your Voucher

  • Once a member, log into the NHSA Club Membership website. and retrieve your voucher.
  • If you contacted a club directly, ask them for a voucher.

There seems to be rumor and confusion as to why the NHSA voucher is the only recognized document. A legislative audit of the Fish and Game revealed potential concerns as it relates to the documentation of NHSA club members and the registration discount. At issue for Fish and Game was a functional valid proof of membership that could sustain an audit.

Official Statement

Fish and Game released the following statement: “It is simply impossible within available human, financial, and technological resources to craft a statewide registration program that would allow recognition of 106 separate snowmobile club membership systems and 28 separate OHRV club membership systems, all of which would also have to be verified in real time through NHSA or NHOHVA. That is why we have required validation through the statewide associations as the only acceptable verification that a registrant is in fact a member of a local club that is also a member of the applicable statewide association.” Read F&G Memorandum

Support the Clubs

The NHSA online club membership program and registration discount were voted on and approved by the clubs years ago to assist in membership management and growth. This approach is a national model, adopted by other states.

If you want the discount, join a club in advance and get the voucher. You should join a club regardless. NHSA clubs are dedicated but they need your support. Become a member, volunteer, ride all winter, have some fun.
