Rave X Outer Limits Tour NH

September 25, 2018 by Dan Gould

Rave X Outer Limits Tour in NH

When it comes to freestyle shows, the Rave X Outer Limits Tour in NH demolishes the high mark. Their insane performance seems to defy every rule of gravity and leaves the crowd breathless.

Rave X NH Performance Oct 6 & 7

They return to the NH Race Into Winter October 6 and 7, 2018 for two shows. Saturday and Sunday’s performance start at 1:15pm. Get there early for the best vantage points.

Seth and Brandon Bell

Most of the pro riders are from the Northeast, including brothers Seth and Brandon Bell of Maine, and Jesse Croteau of New Hampshire. Seth and “Brando” have been with Rave X since day one. Brando is known for his Holy Man trick, where he literally floats in the air, zero gravity style, completely removed from the sled.

Started in Basement

What started as a boutique snowmobile accessory business in the basement of David Carlberg’s home evolved into one of the top freestyle shows in the country. Dave and Ralph Gallagher were mortgage writers by day and snowmobile fanatics by night. Tired of dowdy looking snowmobile clothes, their plan was to introduce the freestyle and snowboarder look, which was trending out west. The gear of choice was Troy Lee Design and HMK. “We had the sickest snowmobile shop around” Carlberg said. The Rave X shop continues to serve snowmobilers with the latest and greatest.

Rave X Roots

Inspired by the growing popularity of the snowmobile freestyle scene, like Slednecks and SCS, they got a ramp and started jumping with friends. As their skills grew, they wondered if they could make some cash performing and market the shop in Maine, too. Their first break came when a NH company asked if they would perform at the corporate BBQ. The team evolved rapidly after that, the ramps got bigger, the tricks crazier, and all of a sudden they were performing in front of the monster crowd at the NH Grass Drags and Watercross.

Climax in NH

For Carlberg and crew, the October show in NH is the most exciting weekend, the climax of the year. “It can be stressful but I love to do it.” He invites the fans to stay after show, “the guys will be available for autographs, free posters and pictures at the Rave X booth.“

New, Used, Refurbish?
Your sled needs work and you've been considering an upgrade. However the supply chain and economic picture has made the decision more complicated. Do you fix the sled or buy something else?
